A downloadable game

It's one of those stories that started as a joke. Three guys on Discord (a designer, a coder, and a math teacher) were thinking about their own game late one evening.

So what? — any fan of this resource would say — there are thousands like them here. And you are absolutely right.

The question was, in essence, sucked out of thin air: there is a format of making a game in three days. But there is a persistent feeling that in modern game dev, all games are made in three days. What if we take the simplest genre? Spoiler: we settled on one earlier. And make our own simple build.

Even at this stage, ideas kept piling up. We didn't come up with anything complicated; we took a simple setting and simple generation as a basis for level design. We sketched out a game concept where you don't just change weapons, but the entire character, and drafted the first design layouts.

Everything you see on the screen when visiting this page is the result of the work of three enthusiasts who came together and just couldn't stop in time. We plan to release the first assembled build in the near future.

Welcome to "Into the Void: Runner". We are just getting started.
